Surgical Abortion Procedures are available up to 14 weeks and 6 days from the start of the last menstrual period, as determined by ultrasound in our office. Surgical abortion procedures are done in a single visit.
Medication Abortion also known as the abortion pill (Mifeprex, RU486) is available for pregnancies up to 11 weeks from the start of the last menstrual period.
If you are over 15 weeks, our sister clinic, Birth Control Care Center in Las Vegas, Nevada is available to provide abortions up to 24 weeks.
The State of Arizona requires that women having an abortion must have a consultation with the doctor at least 24 hours prior to the procedure. The state requires us to give you certain pieces of information at that consultation. This information can only be given to you in person by one of our doctors. This means that you will need to make two visits to our office, one to receive the state-required information, and once for your abortion procedure. We apologize for the inconvenience.
